Feb 08 Our hand held data unit trials have been successful and we are now able to provide this service to our clients. The use of these units improves our turn around of stock reporting. We are able to produce valuations within minutes of our stocktakers finishing the counting of stock. These reports can be instantly printed on site or sent via email direct from site to your offices and key personnel. May 07 Stock Matters Stocktaking has started trials of hand held data capture units together with the latest version of our stocktaking software. The new units enable our stocktakers to record stock on hand very easily either by bar codes scanning or alphanumeric data entry. Along with the update to our software program we are now able to provide more reporting options, extremely accurate data recording and a faster turnaround for our clients. October 06 FILLED Due to our continued success Stock Matters Stocktaking is actively looking for an experienced licensed trade stocktaker based in the Manchester/Tameside area. You must be computer literate, with experience using MS Excel, Access and Word. You must be able to work both on your own and as part of a team. You will need your own car for which a mileage allowance will be paid. You will be required to undertake stocktakes in various licensed trade premises, some which will include food stocks, producing completed stock reports on site for the client, together with till to stock reconciliations, cash checks and spirit testing where required. Predominantly working Monday to Friday although due to the nature of the work there may be occasions when evening or weekend working may be required. Our client base consists of single bar operators, multi site pub companies, brewers managed houses, leisure centres, world class sports arenas and premiership football stadiums. This position would suit a stocktaker who is looking to enhance their skills by working in team environments as well as on their own. It would also suit a stocktaker who is currently self employed and is looking to move back into employment status. In the later instance purchasing of you existing business may be an option. Applications would be considered from someone who is not a full time stocktaker, but has sufficient experience in the licensed trade and the completion of stocktakes that minimal training would be required. Salary for this applicant would be dependant upon experience. . |
